Terms of Service
Grants Pass Movers is an Oregon-registered, insured household-goods carrier based in Grants Pass, and these terms govern how you use this site along with the actual relocation work, packing jobs, and storage our crew performs for you. Sending in a request for pricing or confirming a booking signals that you accept what follows.
Scope of service
Our crew works throughout Josephine County — Grants Pass proper, the rural acreages out past Merlin and Murphy, the historic G Street and Fruitdale neighborhoods, and the smaller communities along the highway — along with long-distance runs up and down I-5. Every truck belongs to the company and every mover riding in it is a direct employee; we don’t farm work out to independent operators or list your job with any outside party.
Building a quote
A written number gets built from what you tell us: pickup and delivery locations, driveway and road conditions, stairs or tight clearances, well or septic access on rural properties, approximate inventory, and your target date. That figure becomes your rate for a job matching that description, with no added fuel charge or mileage add-on anywhere in Josephine County. Submitting a request by itself doesn’t reserve a slot; a date is locked in only once our office confirms it back to you.
When a quoted figure can change
If conditions at the property don’t match what was described — an access road far rougher than mentioned, a different address entirely, or noticeably more furniture than reported — a revised number gets discussed and approved with you before the crew goes any further. That’s the only circumstance where the original figure shifts.
Scheduling, changes, and cancellations
A date belongs to whoever actually confirms it, not whoever asked first. Plans shift, and if yours does, telling us as soon as you know gives another Josephine County household a shot at that opening. Deposit and cancellation specifics for your job are spelled out directly inside your signed quote or move agreement.
Your responsibilities as the customer
- Describe the job honestly, including approximate room count and anything unusually heavy or bulky
- Disclose driveway surface, stairs, well/septic locations, and fragile items before the crew arrives
- Secure any HOA, property manager, or building approval needed beyond what our office coordinates directly
- Keep pathways clear and accessible on both ends so the crew can work efficiently
Liability and claims
Coverage on your shipment depends on which valuation option you selected and applicable federal rules. The included option is our baseline coverage of released value, valued at sixty cents a pound for each article; upgrading to full-value protection costs extra, tied to the value you declare, with cargo coverage applying to the shipment as well. Claims must arrive in writing, and federal rules typically give you around nine months following delivery to submit one for an out-of-state relocation.
Website use
Content published here describes our services in general terms and gets kept as current as we can manage, though the occasional error is possible. Using the site unlawfully, or trying to disrupt, hack, or otherwise disturb how it functions, isn’t permitted.
Amendments
These terms are revised periodically as our practices evolve; whatever wording is posted here at the moment you book takes precedence for your job.
